The area Surrounding the Apartment
The apartment is located in a quiet street in one of the most popular districts of downtown, Malasaña.
Malasaña is a trendy neighborhood in Madrid, with many art galleries and vintage shops and the best of the young and varied nightlife of Madrid.
It is 5 minutes walk from Plaza Dos de Mayo and the Conde Duque Cultural Center, with its charming Plaza de las Comendadoras, both filled with trendy bars, and less than 10 minutes in the opposite direction are the Plaza de España, Palacio Real and Gran Via. Gran Vía Ave, with their musical theaters, department stores and tireless animation is one of the main streets of Madrid, the Puerta del Sol, the very heart of the capital, also one step away, recently transformed into knot railway transport and underground city.
The cultural spots including the Prado and Reina Sofia museums are easily accessible by metro in about 15 minutes.
